Another great book by Francine Rivers

I have started another Francine Rivers book:  Her Mother's Hope.  For me it is a bit traumatic in the beginning as a young, innocent girl is mistreated by her hard hearted Father.  But as I read on I am discovering that having a dream, setting goals to have those dreams fulfilled in your life can be a good thing.  Conversely, it can be detrimental because legalism can and will make you a prisoner.  Not until forgiveness is exercised do we experience true freedom and fulfillment.  I'll let you know what I think of it when it is finished.

The book was Amazing! If I tell you the ending, you may be surprised/disappointed or all the above. And then comes – book 2: Her Daughter’s Dream. My mom just got it for Christmas. Although she has first dibs on reading it; I am nudging her (gently) to either get going on it or pass it over. A dear friend, my chiropractor and his wife gifted us with Crazy Love – Overwhelmed by a Relentless GOD by Francis Chan and that too is another one I am excited to start. Our family is reading (during family reading time) One Small Sparrow by Jeff Leeland. It is a true story about a PNW family, their son (who has Leukemia) and one community’s compassionate response to save his life. So many books to fall in love with but the best book is the Bible. I highly recommend it.
